RICHMND CULTURAL ANNEX
The Richmond Cultural Centre upgrade involved a full-scale renovation of an existing facility, transforming both its interior and exterior to support its new function as a modern, efficient, and environmentally responsible space.
Interior upgrades included complete replacement of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems to meet current safety and efficiency standards. New finishes throughout created a warm, welcoming environment tailored to meet the needs of the building’s users. On the exterior, updated finishes enhanced both durability and curb appeal.
A key achievement of the project was the integration of sustainability measures aligned with net-zero goals. The installation of 97 rooftop photovoltaic solar panels enables the facility to harness renewable energy, significantly reducing its carbon footprint and long-term operational costs.
Meticulous planning and management ensured the project was completed on schedule and within budget. Special care was also taken during the removal and reinstallation of the existing gym floor, preserving its unique aesthetic and structural quality.
